These photographs are part of a collection housed at the George F. Johnson Memorial Library. Most of the actual photos measure about 12x16 inches, and contain more detail than can be seen in these scans. They are available for viewing at the library by appointment.

[OLD LODER AVENUE UNION HIGH SCHOOL]

101. The new Union High School building (on the east side of Loder Avenue at Union Street in the old Village of Union) was erected in 1902 on the site of the old Loder Avenue School. This is the present site of Jennie F. Snapp School.

 

[ORIGINAL LODER AVENUE SCHOOL]

102. View of the original Loder Avenue School, located on the present site of Jennie F. Snapp School. In 1902 is was moved across the street to make way for construction of a new brick school (see photo # 101).

[MUNICIPAL POOL DURING THE 1940's OR 1950's]

120. The municipal swimming pool during the 1940's or 1950's. The pool was built by the Endicott-Johnson Corporation which also maintained it for many years.
