GET A LIBRARY CARD
If you don't have a Four County Library System library card, there are many reasons why you should:
You can check out books, DVDs, music CDs, audio book CDs and more
You can renew and request library items online, from your home or office computer
You can check you library account online, including items you have reserved, items you have checked out, and due dates
You can access premier databases provided by our library, the Four County Library System and by New York State
You will need a library card to use our public access computers
Your library card is a great deal - it's free! (for residents of Broome, Delaware, Chenango, and Otsego counties. Other area residents can get a card for just a $25.00 annual fee).
To get a library card you must:
Be a resident of (or own property in) Broome, Delaware, Chenango, or Otsego counties and show proof of address or real property tax payment
Have parental approval if under age thirteen
Youngsters must be able to sign their first and last name
Complete an Application Form (also available at the library) and return it to the Circulation Desk along with ID and proof of address. Non-residents of the Four County Library System (Broome, Delaware, Chenango & Otsego counties) must also complete the Non-Resident Information Form. Acceptable forms of ID include: Drivers license/Non-drivers
ID; postcard mailed by library and delivered to your address along with a second form showing your current address: utility bill; rent receipt;
paycheck receipt; checkbook, etc.
