Library Friends

Are you a member of the Friends of Huntington Memorial Library? The Friends support the library by helping us purchase items. They also hold a variety of programs on different topics throughout the year.

Last year the Friends purchased three new computers, which replaced our card catalog computers that were 8 years old. Antiques by computer standards. They also support the children's summer reading program every year. Other purchases last year included a rug for the children's story time area, books on CD and large-print books.

Membership dues directly benefit the library. It's not too late to join for 2008. If you'd like to know more about joining, call me at 432-1980 and I'll have someone from the Friends send you information.
