Huntington
Memorial Library is an
authorized branch of the Family History Library of the Genealogical
Society of Utah. The Society is part of the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or LDS, (also known as the Mormon
Church).
Patrons may borrow genealogical and historical materials on microfilm
from the Family History Library. The Library holds over two
million rolls of microfilm containing copies of original records from
around the world. Records include:
census
schedules
vital records
church, Bible, family, and cemetery records
court records
immigration records
biographies
maps and atlases
newspapers records
probate records
and more! |
This vast collection has
been acquired from governments, churches, and individuals throughout
the world. Patrons may borrow film at the cost of $6.00 per reel
and all materials are to be viewed in the New York State History
